Professional Process to Write an Essay - Guide

Writing an essay becomes a daunting task for many students at school, college, and university. Along with the enormous workload, their study hours are still increasing so as to complete the syllabus. As they have to work with multiple subjects at a time, many students get overburdened.

But now students can easily access the essay writing services, however it should be kept in mind that pursuing a professional essay writer should not become a habit. You should reach them only when it becomes a necessity. Otherwise, you should try to do it on your own. By doing so, you can gradually learn how to write well and come up with good essays and papers.

Below you will find the professional process to write an essay.

1) Choosing a Topic

First and foremost, you will have to choose a topic on which you will write something. Or your teacher must have given you a topic to write on. If you are going to choose it for yourself on your own, you can choose something that may interest you, or is something relevant to the situation prevalent around you at that time.

2) Creating an Outline

After you have chosen your topic, the next step is to create an outline of what you are going to write about it. You can brainstorm the topic and conduct some research on it. After having a general overview, you can sketch an outline as to how you are going to proceed with the topic.

3) Making a Thesis Statement

It is probably the most important part of your essay because your essay is going to revolve around this one statement. A thesis statement is your general opinion of the topic which expresses the crux or main point of your essay. You have to prove it in your essay with solid arguments and facts.

4) Writing an Introductory Paragraph

When you have your outline and thesis statement made, you then write an introductory paragraph in which you give a general overview of your topic. You introduce your topic with a brief background and conclude your introduction with the thesis statement. It will give the reader an understanding of what you are going to do in the essay.

5) Writing the Body Paragraphs

Body paragraphs form the major chunk of your essay in which you prove your thesis with proper arguments - such as facts and figures. While writing these paragraphs, you should keep in mind that each body paragraph should contain one idea only. The first line of each body paragraph is a topic sentence, while the rest of the paragraph proves the topic sentence. The topic sentences should relate to the thesis statement you have written in your introduction.

6) Writing a Concluding Paragraph

The last paragraph is your conclusion, in which you summarize your main arguments and also restate the thesis statement while giving some recommendations for further research.

7) Editing the Draft

The last part of your essay writing process includes editing the essay according to the proper structure. You can add and subtract things while keeping in mind the thesis statement.

Some weak students depend on their fellow peers or siblings when doing these assignments. As a school student, I had issues writing a good essay, so I used to ask my elder siblings to write paper for me. By doing so, I was able to learn several essay writing skills from them as well, due to which I can now write impressive and compelling essays.

Therefore, if you want to improve your essay writing skills and desire to write impressive essays, this post will help you a lot in this regard.
